Program Managers (Trainers & Assessors) CHC Training Package

We're growing so we are currently seeking qualified and passionate Program Managers (Trainers & Assessors) in Wodonga, Mildura, Shepparton, Ararat, Hamilton, Warrnambool and Metropolitan Melbourne to deliver the following nationally accredited learning programs;

  • Building Experts Working in Ageing Support & Disability Program, successful completion includes CHC43015 Certificate IV in Ageing Support  & CHC43115 Certificate IV in Disability
  • Starting Out Working in Aged Care & Disability Program, successful completion includes CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Home & Community)
  • Leading The Way Working in Community Services, successful completion includes CHC52015 Diploma in Community Services

We are looking for highly passionate, independent trainers and assessors to train in the Warner Way and support our students through their learning journey in and across Aged Care, Disability and Community Care across Certificate levels III through to Diploma.  As a trainer with Warner you will be supported by our Education Manager and the entire team.


  • A minimum of the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110 or successor)
  • Relevant industry experience of 4 or more years with current engagement in industry
  • Connections and involvement with relevant industry services/programs would be advantageous
  • An equivalent or higher qualification in the the required nationally recognised qualifications being trained
  • The ability to complete mapping documentation for compliance purposes
  • Ability to participate regularly in VET Professional Development
  • A current working with children's check
  • Current Victorian driver's licence and own vehicle


  • To deliver student administration paperwork for filing in a timely manner. 
  • To prepare lesson plans, subject outlines, handouts, assignments and assessments for each subject taught. 
  • To deliver each scheduled training session fully prepared and punctually, and complete student assessments 
  • To record attendance in the class on a daily basis and provide attendance sheets to Head Office at the conclusion of each day.  
  • Ensure that all students are provided with the subject outlines and handouts for every subject 
  • To train and assess within the Training package rules, and follow AQTF regulatory framework.  
  • To assist in the development of curriculum, training methods & resources. 
  • To provide student support to ensure the student completes their learning journey. 
  • Participating in organisational continuous improvement. 
  • Each Trainer and Assessor is to ensure that they understand the Training and Assessment strategies for their Program 
  • To participate in Trainer & Assessor feedback forms at the conclusion of each subject and at the conclusion of the course. 
  • To participate in the student complaints and appeals process as required. 
  • Participating in organisational continuous improvement.

Directly reporting to the Education Manager, you will be training and assessing students in a Certificate III Ageing Support, Certificate IV Aged Care, Certificate IV Disability and/or the Diploma of Community Services.

The delivery of the program will include;

  • conducting all aspects of the workshops and training development,
  • assessing under the compliance of the course and program requirements,
  • ensuring effective and best produced results and practices are adhered to with utmost competency assurance, and
  • coaching and supporting students.

 Having a demonstrative ability to produce professional industry-based relationships in a classroom setting; will enable you to effectively be a key factor in presenting course modules. While having a passion to enhance students with practical knowledge is highly beneficial to empowering students to develop their skill set, while strengthen the standards across the entire Aged Care sector.

 The ideal candidate will have...

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • Diploma in Aged Care equivalent or higher
  • Minimum current 2 years of training and assessment experience in the Vocational and education training sector and delivery of this qualification.
  • Extensive (3 years or more) recent industry experience in the Aged Care sector
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a friendly disposition
  • A strong work ethic
